Don't use that domain name
I personally wouldn't use that domain name. It has to be easy to remember and I wouldn't remember that. Plus, since there is soo many different varations of curb appeal websites, someone may get frustrated when trying to search for you and they find every other curb appeal site imagineable EXCEPT yours! I am sure your google search ranking would be pretty low with that name because there is so much competition with the words curb appeal. Plus, I bet the owner of curbappeal.com pays Google a hefty amount of money to appear first on the search rankings.
My opinion: Use a domain name that contains your service area. For example, I am based out of Spring City, PA. An example domain name could be www.springcityareapm.com which would stand for Spring City area property maintaince. I don't know if a business name change is out of the question but your domain name and website is going to be the single most effective marketing tool for your business if done right. My Domain name choosing tips:
Hopefully that will get you started! |

Kirk,
I spent 4 months in a tech startup accelerator and you could have taught the session on domain names almost all of your points are what they taught us. They suggested no more than 3 syllables, a .com and most importantly make it were it's easy to find when you google. So curb appeal is going to be impossible to find on google AND people won't remember how it's misspelt. Just keep trying until you get a domain name you feel really good about, even MIcurbappeal.com if it's not taken.

Those two don't sound to bad. I like the first one better. Like others have said. Something that's easy to remember and hard to misspell. Also a .com is a must.

Personally I think those other names are too long.
How about WhyCurbAppeal.com or WhyCurb-Appeal.com they are both available... that way if you run a radio ad or newpaper ad you can answer the question for the customer. Go to "WhyCurbAppeal.com" and we'll explain how we can make your lawn look great... |

Usually shorter is better.
I am a freelance web designer... Usually if people can't find it by way of google, they want a domain they can remember. curbappealcpm.com is available Might want to consider something like that. |
