Great thread. I live in NH where rocks are plentiful and I do alot of big rock jobs like yours. Although not the size company you are. I do have a question. Here in NH we have to have a prof. engineer stamp a plan for any wall greater than 4' verticle, is that true out there?

It is! It seems like I slacked a bit on my pictures in the past weeks.

Looks good. I've give bonus points for including the Biff's!
Is that Lake Minnetonka project a residence or part of a subdivision/park? Do you guys do any of the black dirt or finishing/hydroseeding? I like the blacked out look on the truck wheels.

That Lake Minnetonka project is in Minnetrista on Palmer Point. It's a subdivision and that pool/beach is for the community. As far as finish work I always grade out my walls above/below because I like grading and am OCD about my work looking nice, and I don't like leaving the areas messy by my walls because of drainage from rain and how it could erode the topsoil out. We could easily do finish grading and have a little in the past when the developer was in a bind. At Palmer point we actually prepped and put recycled bituminous down for the sidewalks that were going in so that another crew wasn't in our way plus it's always nice to show we can do more than just build walls. As for hydroseeding it's not really that big around here IMO. Most times we do Sod if anything and that's usually a residential thing. It's usually straw matting instead of hydroseeding for whatever reason. Next week I get to pick up my new toy for the T770. 84" Sheepsfoot packer.
