Looks like fun Trever, nice fish!!!
I fished for about 2 hours late this afternoon. First time on the water since July. Wasn't planning on going today but we finished early so I made the hour drive to the coast. Caught a limit of Reds +1 and two small Trout.

Got up at 4:30 this morning. Hooked up the boat and picked up a friend. We headed down to the Connecticut River for Pike. My friend backed me into the launch. I am now floating and my motor turns over slowly. I also have no power at the bow trolling motor. As i am floating DOWN the river and powerless i i finally come to rest at a private dock and tie off. All 3 of my batteries are dead even though they charged all night.
I guarantee it would have been a BANNER DAY.

Anybody hear about the record setting Blue Catfish in VA? Caught in the lake where my parents have a lake house....this thing is HUGE! 143 Pounds...Crazy to think that those are 40-50 feet under your boat.

I havn't posted on this thread in a long time.
I have made a few trips over the past few months but not as many as I did last year. I will try to post some pics of past trips latter. Here is a pic from today. Nice day for mid Jan., Upper 50's and sunny. Water is cold, in the 50's, have to fish slooooow on the bottom this time of year. 5 Reds, 25", 23", two 21", and one small one.

![]() Our 50ish degree water is cold enough for me!! I think I can remember last year the water was in the 40's for several days. That is serious here, fish start dieing when it gets that cold.
