fc420v recoil

hello all, i have a 14hp kawasaki fc420v with a broken pullstart recoil. my question is the part that it calls for is a 59101/a (plastic recoil pulley). i'm having a bit of trouble locating this specific part. my pulley has 3 paws, most of the pulleys i've located call for two. my question is can i use this different pulley and paws with my motor? does it require replacing anything else (the cup bolted to the top of the flywheel)?

thank you all in advance for your help.

How did it break ? the rope broke off ? does it jerk back when you pull it ?

the reason I ask because they need valve adjustment once they start doing that
God bless the USA

The part # you gave is not a good number! Should be something like
59101-2054. you need to look up the part using the engine spec/variation number.
It ain't rocket science! far.

the handle (plastic) broke, so i used what i had handy, when i took it apart to retrieve the rope, i didn't get the center bolt tight and the paw holder came apart and chewed up the recoil gear. all my fault, i've been wrapping the rope around it without the recoil housing, it starts super easy, just a pain in the rear. thanks for the part number.
