Is this torpedo grass? If so I am open to ideas of how to kill it...

Looks like you got the root so if you leave it there it should dry out and die.....

Looks like Torpedo. Can't kill it without killing the good grass unless you pull it all.

St. Augustine is the turf type - you have a way to effectively remove it from this turf type?

Please share....I currently do not have any in my own lawn ...thank goodness but I do have several clients that have some and the L and O company I have been using does not treat?
