$$ To Mow Neighbor's Yard
While I don't really want to enter the lawn care business on a large scale, a neighbor has asked what I would charge to mow her 3+ acre yard. Any suggestions on what a fair price would be?

for you, since you are just starting out, I would charge around $90 to $120 for 3 acres.

What ever happened to helping a neigbhor raise a barn? Corral the horses? Harvest the fruit? Haul the trash to the curb?
My time mowing a lawn for a friendly neighbor lady might be free to do it as a neighborly thing, esp. if it's no cost to me other than time. Would you do that? If your answer is no, then you are after the money. And that's fine too-- just charge a market rate.
