Quicksilver(carfentrazone) pics

Pictured are grass in pots treated with Quicksilver (carfentrazone). The pots were UTC (untreated controls) left over from last months experiment. Seed was Scotts "High Traffic" and Scotts "Classic". Both seed mixtures were high in perennial rye and also contained Kentucky bluegrass. Treated at about 11 days after emergence on Oct 11. Grass seed was planted on Sept 22nd. There was no visible injury to the grass, even though it was very young.

It appears that carfentrazone can be applied, if there is a weed situation on newly seeeded grass.
