What is the best way to prop up an Exmark and a ZTR?

Is there some way to make a home made device without buying a 300 jack? I was thinking about using some scrap 6x6 from a wall job. Input please.

Picked up my car ramps at a yard sale for $10.00. I keep one at each of my properties.

Jacks

There is a product called the Jungle Jack cost about $150.00 and is sold at most dealers in our area. I think Jungle Jims of Louisville is the manufacturer, but I don't know their website. Maybe someone else knows it. Good luck

home made ramp. A little taller than standard car ramps---you just run one wheel up and everything is accessible.

If you have a trailer or a truck with a loading ramp you can head the mower up it with one front wheel on the ramp & the rest of the mower hanging off to get to the blades. You will usually have to switch sides of the ramp to get all blades. Be sure to lock the parking brake, scotch the wheels & BE CAREFUL.

I have a Toro Z Master that has the Z Stand mounted on the front. Just let the jack down and drive up onto it. Picks the front end up enough to change front tires or raise it up to the next level and you can get under the deck to clean, change blades, etc. Well worth the $150 in my opinion.

JACK IT UP

Bigfoot told the scoop, that tailgate is always there ,nothing extra to keep up with , Ive done it that way for years , Its also handy to have putting the deck belt back on an exmark after them sweet gum ball de-rail ya. or changing hydro filter , keeps you from having to lay in the dirt or wherever.changing blades has to pit stop fast around here cause they dull in a hurry That tailgate does the job ,you would have to be an idiot for it to fall over off that tailgate , it also makes cleaning under the deck at the car wash.........Taco
