I'm not sure you want to try using a ball type hone on a ported cylinder, The ports can grab the balls and pull them out and or damage the ports.

You surely don't want to invest in a Ammco hone, Check your local mower shops or auto machine shops and see what they'd charge to de-glaze and re-crosshatch with the proper style hone.
