I have a hustler vx4 60 inch x one i really like the mower but have had issues with the cut as u may have heard from others in the past. recently a friend of mine bought a ferris 72 after he demo a 60 , wow what a smooth ride all around good mower. im thinking about trading ? i dont mow alot but i really like the smooth ride when i do. What should i do?

Looking to buy a new mower in the spring and wanted to get an idea of what cutting issues you had with the vx4 deck and what other decks your comparing it to?

well its a good mower jus left strips at 3.5 inch cuts and above. so they installed baffle kit, but now its narrowed the discharge side down so much im afraid its gonna clump? so i was thinking bout trading for that fact. i want a perfect cut in all types of grass and also throughout the mowing season jus cant believe that they cant design a deck to do all of this for wat they cost. I tried my friends ferris and luved it alot, the ride is spectacular!!!!!!!! BUT is it gonna b a perfect cut at the higher settings? jus curious.

If it's narrowed your discharge opening then you probably will get clumps. I would trade but I don't no anything about ferris. just my 2 cents
