That's a new one on me. I guess there's always a first time, but I've never had a problem with the fuel transfer coming off and I've done several. Use Slappers advice---tap and pry.

Sometimes I can get a photo into the computer and sometimes not. If it goes in I can't get it to upload.

Best I can do is say go to partstree.com and type in 201332 0164-B1 and go to carb kit.

If you look at this break-down; http://outdoorpowerinfo.com/repairs/...nikki_carb.asp it shows the white/tan plastic fuel transfer/float holder still on the bottom of the carb body, The problem Jay Ray has is the transfer came off the carb body OK but is stuck in the recessed groove in the top of the float bowl.

Jay Ray,

Heat/tap and pry like Slapper mentioned.....

There is no suction on the transfer tube, I've had a couple stick on me but enough hammering and prying got them out. Do whatever you need to get it out then replace it along with the main jet and o-ring.

You may try warming it up with a heat gun/hair dryer then try prying/pulling it out.....
I'll try a little more of pulling the punches, then the brass hammer.

Rob,

The parade passed me by on that one, but you cleared up the picture. I never had one act that way either.

You're right. The soup, ice cream and protein powder aren't doing the job.

Got it loose.

Took the float bowl outside and screwed it down carefully to a pressure treated workbench using deck screws thru the two holes in the top side bosses (bottom of bowl down).

Screwed the eye bolt back into the center hole of the plastic fuel transfer (had previously tapped the hole 5/16-18NC).

Layed up a fulcrum of wood and flat bar. Put a round pry bar through the eye of the eye bolt and tapped the far end of the pry a couple of times.

It just needed that little bit of dynamic shock from the light hits to break it loose.

Have narrow experience but never seen a main jet with that much crap in and on it.

Saved about $30 in parts.
