Kaw. head gasket leak
Hey guys, Ive got a Kaw.19 hp on my scag that is just starting to leak a little oil from the head gasket.I,m thinkin of Retorqing the head bolts to see if it will stop or slow down the enevitable.Has anyone tried this and can it be done without damaging the bolts. appreciate the input

Its a crapshoot. If you try it, loosen the bolts and retorque.

Since it is the offseaon/slow time I would just do it the right way and replace the head gasket. Gaskets are cheap and can be done in a day, even with a nap mid day.
