start working for someone else?

I have always been self employeed and I love to challenge myself by learning different aspects of the job. However would it be smart to find a full time job working under someone with 20+ years of experience in order to learn from someone elses mistakes, and also to learn the "tricks of the trade". I do ALRIGHT work, much better than most jobs i notice, however I feel like I have a long way to go before I'm one of the best... which is my main goal.
Where is that one tool, that I left... At the one job.... Or maybe the other? Where am I? Whose truck is this?
