that and if you really designed that driveway with a 3 inch rise in 4 feet on each side with a flat 4 foot in the are just as nuts as curb man.

a flat driveway that has 1/8- 1/4 inch per foot toward the street with the adjacent grade flush to + 1/2 inch with the driveway edges will ALWAYS flow water toward the street.
