I talked to an applicator from Trugreen who was putting down a winterizer in January here in central Texas and he was honest and admitted half the stuff they had him do was a waste. I've had the Trugreen sale stuff left on my door as well and all the possible application you could sign up for were mind boggling.

You might as well dig a hole down to the aquifer and dump a semi load of crap in our drinking water.

Generally established lawns here dont need lime. Lime is an add on service here and not given to most customers. I am not familier with the climate the op is in but here they have to come out 7 times. It's their choice in fert that is the problem. They use a low grade fert that doesnt last. I know for a fact this year they used all mineral all year even though we didnt get rain for 2-3 months.I generally do not worry about what they do over there, they aren't even a lawn care company. They are a marketing company that just so happens to sell lawn care. When you look at it that way you see why they do the things they do. Money talks quality walks should be screwgreens motto.
