Check Debris Before Mowing

I always check carefully for debris before mowing. Sticks, rocks and other debris can become hazardous when hit and thrown from a mower. Today my mower came across a wire coat hanger lying flat on the grass. No I didn't notice it hiding in the grass !!

All I heard were the blades reshaping the coat hanger, and squeezing it into the catcher.. I should really check the blades tomorrow !!
