Blade Center Hole Size????
Just picked up a 02 Toro Z Master 52" for 900 bucks on CL
![]() Had to fix a few things but nothing to major. But I went to the mower shop and bought some new blades. They gave me blades with a 1/2" center hole. I came home and looked at the old blade and the hole is 5/8. So I search the internet and some sites say 5/8 and some say 1/2 so now I am confused... Would the 1/2 size center hole hurt anything? Anyone know the correct size??? Thanks everyone!!

The 1/2 blade wont work. The center whole fits the bolt that holds the blade on. You wont even be able to bolt the blade on. Toro changed decks around 2004 I think. The older decks were labels SFS. The newer decks are called Turbo force. You need to know what deck you have when buying blades.
