I have that same engine on my Mi-T-M pressure washer and had the same problems you mentioned, I spoke to the mechanic at the dealer in which I bought it and he told me that it is a "known issue" that the OEM(emission control) gas caps cause the engine to vapor lock while running. I changed my gas cap to an aftermarket vented cap and my pressure washer ran flawlessly

we had the same problem w/ our aerators new , the shop just raised the oil level , took care of it

what gas cap are you guys using to replace the tall chrome cap?
ive had the same gas cap trouble on a couple of hondas now, after recieving replacement caps that were identical and same trouble, machine manufacturer told me to just drill a small hole thru it, i havent had much luck with that and want to just replace with with the normal cap ty |
