A point nobody has made...why are you still going to this "client" if never uses your service. Seems to me He takes your advice and ideas then tries to find the cheapest trunk alammer hack to do the work. He is not interested in quality or even safety, just the lowest cost, no matter what. He is holding a carrot in front of you to keep you comin back but in all likelihood will never use you because in his mind you are overpriced.
I have 2 suggestions next time he calls:
1. Tell him from that point on for your knowledge , advice and trip to his house is 125.00 ...PER HOUR
Or #2 would be my choice
2. Explain to him you are a professional anherron his past actions has shown he is not interested in doing things the way it should be done so please find someone else...
