Here are some pics of a truck I just picked up. It is sitting in the parking lot of the welding company in the pictures, I will post more pictures at each stage.

It is a F-450 diesel, with a 11' flat bed. This will be our third irrigation install truck, which we will use for commercial install jobs.

We plan on making the current ramp a fold out so we can drive our mini skid trenchers up on the flat bed. The pipe rack will only extend to the top of the box, and there will be a removeable rack located about where the back axel is. That way we will not always have a big pipe rack haning over the back of the truck. The sides fold down so we will be able to load pallets etc.

Sorry, I took the truck pics down because I did not black out the previous owners lettering. I also have to take it to paint, get the RK boxes fixed, and get some better looking wheels, image is everything. Here are the pics.

Here are some more pics.... I was a cog in the wheel on this one, but rain meant hand trenching, and getting our trencher stuck. We walked the trencher out with the trenching attachment and boom arm.

One more of the left side... this took a total of 4 days. 20 or so pallets of sod, 13 zones @ 12 gpm sprinkler, 65 ft. of retaining wall..... all with inspectors crawling all over the place.

diamond in the ruff... bought er for 8k with 45k on her.

She is at the welders right now but when it is said and done, I will have 11-12 k invested.

I like it when you talk dirty. 5000 LAs are the best thing I used at the end of my service years. The customers saw them as an up grade.

Added a pipe rack, fixed broken hinges, got a gate fabbed to drive the mini skid up on the bed, and paint.
