Just curious: confront, speedzone and quicksilver will not affect the existing grass? I have a similar situation and I do not spray, but subcontractor told me there is nothing he can do about violets, b/c of there root system...HUH?!?!

Will not kill the grass if used like the label requires, there are exceptions like when someone mixed 10oz per a gallon it will kill whatever it touches.

Will kill violets no problem.

Do you get results with one app? I use to do an app and then retreat the violets 14 days later. Still only got so-so results.

Confront!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My lawn was 25% violets. With one app. there is nothin' but grass. Be patient, it will take about 3-4 weeks to start showing stress. Good luck.
