Help! Tax question?

New to the site and new to the business as far as being an LLC. I was talking to a friend of mine who told me if you have avertisement's on your truck or trailer to make sure you get magnetic ones that you can take down because certain cities will tax you for the work you do in that city

I have an accountant I'm working with to pay taxes and be legal but what is this city tax? Thanks
