So are you really walking that slow? The average walking speed is closer to 1500 sqft per minute. At 7 feet 1000 sqft per minute wide that is only 1.6 miles per hour.
And you said you were applying at 2 gals per minute, and mixing at .75 ounce per gallon--so you are actually applying at 1.5 ounce per thousand. Is that right?

May I suggest Speedzone? Or Speedzone southern?

How hot is it? I don't think Three Way is much of a problem in the heat. "Avoid applying in excessively dry or hot periods unless irrigation is used."

Actually i don't have any Three Way at the moment; last year I tested T-Zone for injury during hot weather (that is 90 around here), and found no injury. I hope to repeat the test at label rate, 5 times and 10 times--waiting for hot weather.
