O.k. I know I'm going to get crap but I practiced all day with this thing on my yard. I have the sprayer down as I do a lot of boom work. But the fert. spreader, all the settings, still not a big deal I will just have to calibrate with my fert. As for today I was applying (now this is where I am going to get crap) 2 bags of floor dry, and 2 bags of cat litter.... Hay its about the same weight and varying size like actual fert. I also can put as much on my lawn and with no issues. I can see exactly how the spreader is going to act before I use real fert.

Hey, Ike, or should I call you lazy? Congrats; kitty litter is fine and it won't burn your grass. And excess growth won't be a problem. Now that you are playing around with it...

How about laying out ten paper plates to determine if the pattern is even. Count the particles. Photos would be nice.

How many gallons per minute do you get? At what pressure?
