Tenacity in Z Spray?
Anyone had experience running Tenacity in a Z-Spray? As of now I am planning on running the gray tips due to the fact that Tenacity is supposed to go down with at least 30 gallons of water per acre (5-8oz per acre in at least 30 gallons of water).
If I go at the heavy rate of 8oz that is about .1818oz per K. The gray tips at 5mph and 30 psi put down .71gal per 1k. So if I mix the Tenacity at .25oz per gallon of water (1.4 times the normal rate) or 3.75oz per 15gallon tank would that be correct? Is this math right? I am confusing myself. I am used to just mixing stuff at double or triple the 1k rate. Not used to dealing with this volume of water and oz per acre.Anyone used it in Z and if so what rate and what results? |

15 divided by .71 means you will cover 21.1 msqft per tank.
Times .1818 would be 3.84 ounces per tank. That is a label rate. |

Let me know if your Grey tips are accurate with the .71 per 1K. My grey tips (Brand New) put down .82 per 1K at 30 psi. And that is on a straight shot, not including turns and stop and starts. All of my other tips are correct with the charts though. |
