Hey it is legal to apply just granular fertilizer without a license correct, as long as there is no pesticides in it.

If the first cut is done this early- its gonna be slow to grow back for the following week. Everyone is anxious to cut cause the weak winter, but we're still a few weeks out till full growing season-IMO. This is the earliest ive even thought of starting in my 20 yrs in biz

We had two landscape crew out last week, also starting a irrigation install tomorrow. Had a great winter and don't want to have a crap march so we need to start working to keep numbers up for march.
The ground is dry, plants and trees are looking good and the mulch is nice and fresh

yes. The law is written that you can't apply herbicide or pesticide for compensation without a license.

I am doing 2-3 estimates a day...weird start to the season. We have a full week starting tomorrow, what a strange feeling.

I agree, way to early to start cutting. I seen a guy out this weekend trying to cut and was leaving wheel ruts already. Way to set the pace for the season with ruts. We're not starting to first week of April. Suppose to get cold again next week I heard.
