I encountered one with a 24" cobra connector because they poured wider stairs. Of course that meant the PVC ell was embedded with one end of the cobra underneath. They called me out because somehow the cobra split and there was water coming out form underneath the stairs. I had to go at it carefully with my hand sledge and chisel and chip as much concrete out as I could w/o cracking the stairs.

Looks like they still make them. Do any of you use them? I thought they were nifty when they first came out. I'd hate to have to service any jobs where I installed them now.
