I can't see how an out of balance blade would affect QOC, unless it is also bent.

What having out of balance blades will do, is wear out your spindle bearings much faster than normal, and other parts of the deck may be affected as well by all the vibration. Why put up with any more vibe's than necessary, when it's pretty easy to check and balance blades?
