i missed out on a troy-bilt horse tille today

a nicely maintained troy bilt tiller that looked brand new just sold before i was able to go check it out.

i had a agreement of $850. on it.


now i called on another one for $1000(he has listed) and he said he had someone else interested.

how common are these? they seem to be selling fast from craigslist.

would i have better luck after the garden season?

Doubtful.

Most people that have them, hang on to them. I don't claim to be an expert on them, but my neighbor has one, and it is a hoss of a tiller, built back when Troy Bilt was still Troy Bilt. I have seen several on CL here this spring, and I don't believe any of them were over 1K, but several were atound $600-$700 and in decent condition, but they were just a little bit ahead of the actual spring season, so maybe that's why the difference in prices from here to your area.

What's funny is, that they wernt even that high when new.

I miss when they were troy built and actually built good stuff, not that cheapo plastic crap of today.

yes my dad has one and he thinks he paid $850 for it. man has things changes i guess
