i missed out on a troy-bilt horse tille today
a nicely maintained troy bilt tiller that looked brand new just sold before i was able to go check it out.
i had a agreement of $850. on it. now i called on another one for $1000(he has listed) and he said he had someone else interested. how common are these? they seem to be selling fast from craigslist. would i have better luck after the garden season?

Doubtful.
Most people that have them, hang on to them. I don't claim to be an expert on them, but my neighbor has one, and it is a hoss of a tiller, built back when Troy Bilt was still Troy Bilt. I have seen several on CL here this spring, and I don't believe any of them were over 1K, but several were atound $600-$700 and in decent condition, but they were just a little bit ahead of the actual spring season, so maybe that's why the difference in prices from here to your area. |

What's funny is, that they wernt even that high when new.
I miss when they were troy built and actually built good stuff, not that cheapo plastic crap of today. Posted via Mobile Device |
