Not Fenton, grand Blanc has one and Mundy twp is getting one. But the state cops sit on the north side of Fenton at least once a week and pull trucks over into the rest area. While it doesn't look like a way station that rest area has scales built into a part of the asphalt and they just need to plug there computer in to it.

That dude must not have ever been pulled over then.
Last time we got stopped it was 2 fines 350/125. Totally valid reasons also. The ticket had three other item that were just fix its deals

Wow! Why did you say you hate enclosed trailers, did that have something to do with getting pulled over?

Why are they targeted more often? I was going to pick one up from my father in law to fix up and possibly use.

I dont post on here often but after reading the last few post i feel this might be beneficial to someone.

A while ago i ran into one of Torre & Bruglio's old mechanics. He told me this: "DOT will never stop looking for a reason to pull you over because thats how they get paid. So stop giving them a reason to pull you over! Check your (STUFF) before it leaves the yard DAILY. And Fix any problems before they have to tell you. Because 9 times outta' 10, you KNOW what they are pulling you over for before they even step foot out the car."

To this day we check the trucks before they leave. All Lights, Break aways, etc.
Lets be real United runs 43+ Enclosed trailers... They clearly have their advantages over open trailers.
