Check engine Light?
Hello, I have a 2007 Hustler Super Z, 25hp kaw 60in rear discharge.
My check engine light comes on after machine warms up. It has 45lb oil pressure and new oil sending unit, took engine shrouds off and engine is clean. Seems to me engine is getting warmer than it use to. Is this something I should be worried about? Thanks in advance. Pete R. |

Is the light on at all times? or just at idle?

Started out that way last year, progressively stayed on longer till now once it warms up after mowing for 5 to 10 minutes starts coming on while mowing and stays on.

Hmmmm....
Do you notice any oil leakage? Particularly from the crank seals? Pj

No leaks but it does seem to run warmer than it use to.

Time to get it checked out by a Kawasaki dealer, something isn't right, better to get it checked now before something worse happens.
