Station master, or any tone and probe kit, will identify one wire in a bundle better than your MM if the power to the clock is off or you're fixing multiple field wire breaks. Also will start your solenoid when there's no power, and as you probably know, that's better than using a bleed screw as far as checking flow or making accurate valve adjustments.

Just one more tool to have around.
