Does newly seeded grass require more fertilizer? (pic)

I have Kentucky Bluegrass Sod that has been in for about 4 years. Last year I had some disease problems due to high humidity and excess thatch last summer. In the fall I had my lawn dethatched and aerated and then I reseeded some spots. I think some of the spots I reseeded are a different color green, is this because it is its first time growing high or pulling more nitrogen? I am hoping that it turns the same color as the rest of the lawn. My first fert application was Lesco Dimension 24-0-11 about a 5 weeks ago.
