guess it depends on what the customer wants.. if he wants a nice lush green turf tell him its going to be a long road until you can reach that...

i'd say spray round up and start over would be the cheapest and best way...

In summer just spread the cheapest common Bermuda seed and water. 5 day germination and the weeds will choke out. Then sell them on winter rye overseeding.

Use dimension to maybe get some of the young crabgrass. Celsius at max rate should clean it right up.

19-19-19 or 18-24-12 to jump start the bermuda.

Wouldn't hurt to aerate at the same time.

Kill the weeds, that is 90 percent of the problem. Then feed and water the Bermuda--it should spread to fill in. Locally Bermuda (as a weed) is still dormant. Bermuda grows fast in summer heat if there is a bit of water. Am I wrong--or does it become invaded by weeds in winter when it is dormant?

Pretty much, Riggle.

But that's why we have glyphosate at 32oz per acre. Talk about cleaning up a dormant Bermuda yard.

To the OP, hit it with Celsius. Wait a month, then slit in some seed. We use La Prima for our cheaper customers. Riviera for our high end ones.

Not when you time an AR overseed right. People around here want year round green.

Don't use any pre's, this will inhibit the spreading of the runners. Your success rate for the bermuda filling in will depend greatly on if they have irrigation or the consistency of rainfall.
