herbicide for weeds in pachysandra

I have a customer who has around 3000 square feet of pachysandra. She has a weed problem in them as well and i was wondering what the herbicide i could use to get these weeds killed and or even prevent them. I know i can get a selective herbicide which will just kill the certain types of weeds but there are at least 4 different types of weeds. I'm not exactly sure what kind of weeds they are, i know the one is like a thistle with thorns on it but even if u guys have a general idea i would appreciate it.

Canada thistle is bad news. It spreads by rhizomes and underground roots. Control would require persistently cutting it back to the ground, until gradually the roots are exhausted because photo synthesis cannot supply food to the roots.
