Looks like Poa Annua seeding. Common this time of year.
However, I could be wrong.

Could be poa annua. Take a close look at the ligule. Kentucky bluegrass is not much different, and it is seeding heavily in my town.

I agree. It looks like Poa Ana. It should die out with the heat. I try to control it with my fall spraying. If I see it with the first spraying it gets Glyphosate used on it.
