Gotta Love IT! 2 Wire communication cable buried 2" under the dirt!

Getting high miliamp readings...

We replaced the run of cable.

Also check out the former wire splice with 3" to work with, they had
king black/grey connectors and electrical tape on the joint.. I tried to
get a boot shot in there

I had to disconnect all the wires in the box to isolate the bad wire run,
so the wire joints dont look pretty, excuse the mess.

I am about to start up a two wire system today. The cable company has been boring around it all winter and I have a good feeling that I will be seeing some of same you have here.

Here is a fun one from about 10 years ago..... in fact the picture is so old that I had to scan it. This is what happens when a bunch of little league dads try to "fix" the irrigation system at the ball field....
