I have a few questions about the F350. I am most interested in how the box is attached to the bed. Is there a conventional tail gate on the truck or is that incorporated with the enclosure? How long have you owned this truck? Any known problems?

The bed of the truck is a standard mason dump type bed and the sides are welded on. the tailgate is a typical mason dump tailgate and there are "barn doors" on the body. the floor of the bed is badly rusted, but the rest is still solid. For an 1995 the frame and body on the truck are still in good condition. We have owned the truck since 02/03. (we bought out the original owners company) I was used as a res, maintenance crew truck during the season and sat as a back up shovel crew truck during the winter.

As for known problems nothing comes to mind. We put a re-man trans in it maybe 4-5 years ago. I put new exhaust manifolds on it in 2010. As for major repairs that's about it.

Hope that info helps.

At what mileage did you put in the trans? I'm looking at 96 f250 5.8 auto 2x4 just wondering about if these trucks are good?

If the trans was put in 4-5 years ago, maybe 20-25k miles.
