Sealing commercial property
Hello fellow sealers,
I may have the opportunity to score a big contract with a well known franchise. They have VERY large lots and are open 7 days a week. I have a few questions that I need answered. 1. I am using Black mac and was wondering how much I should charge per sq.ft 2. Black mac can sometimes take 2 days to fully dry. How in the heck would I seal a whole parking lot? Especially, if the lot needs to be striped after? For example, I can seal the whole lot, let it dry the next day but then the lot would have no parking lines. 3. What is the protocal for doing a larger lot with high traffic 7 days a week? Thanks,

lol i cant really help since i dont do seal coating but is it possible to block the parking lot off into sections or come in on a sunday evening... (Most malls and stuff close early)
Come back in the AM and Stripe it in sections? I do snow removal... Im sure its required to have at least one lane open at all times for emergencies... So sections will prob be better

Most marge parking lots have pretty decent lights so try sealing it in large sections at night. That will give you a good all day drying period from sun-up to sun-down the next day. You main concern will be properly barricading the sealed area due to the fact you wont be there the next day and if you arent there some idiot is sure to try driving on the sprayed areas.

ADD FSA. dont cut the sealer to much! make sure sands in the mix. You dont want anyone slipping when wet!
