Any body looked or bought a Ground Guy franchise

So I was doing some reading today and came across this article on Ground Guys. Up here I have never heard or seen them up here. The article made them sound like imperial starfleet was dropping off storm trooper's to take over the landscaping world. I am not worried yet lol. I wonder if my 300 WSM will take down a storm trooper?
But seriously are there any of you guys competing with a franchise?
Do they move in and lowball all the bids and try to starve everybody out?
Low balling and moving into area's where guy are doing hack type work is the only way that I can see a franchise working.

I got a call from them when I got my contractors license. They want a nice sum of money to join their franchise. The amount of money involved pretty much automatically disqualifies lowballer types. I don't think you need to worry.

Years ago printing franchises were put forth as money making machines.

For $100 G's you could put in business. Thing is you still had to have the money to rent a building and everything else.

For 100 G's I could of bought enough equipment to set up 4 print shops.

Thing is I couldn't get $25,000 to set up one. And now with the advent of high speed copiers and high color and high quality copiers and PC's I'm glad that I didn't spend the $25,000 that I didn't have.

Because the small print shop market has almost disappeared.
