Hey Goldpro I gotta ask you about your double cuts, if the grass is higher than you normally cut it, (obviously ) on your first pass will you cut higher and then the second lower it to the regular height? I have been doing so and it shows promising results with long grass What I mean when I say raise it up, would you raise it 1"+ to get the clippings smaller, then the second pass lower it to chop up the lower bit of grass

I actually cut it on the height i want the lawn at on the first cut, say 3.5 inches, then on the double cut i will raise it up to 3.75-4 inches. when you raise it up on the second cut it helps spread the grass out more.

That's the same thing I do...seems to work the best of anything else I've tried.

So when you pass by again you are just spreading everything and defining your stripes more? Ill have to try that tomorrow if it finally stops raining
