just wondering what kind of engine oil others use.. i currently run the honda 10-30 but its expensive what other kind should i run thanks

since the epa started screwing with oil we have gone to all synthetic

In an air-cooled small engine with often times less than 2 qts capacity, the best oil possible is cheap insurance. It's no only lubrication, but also a secondary cooling system.
These engines run at full throttle for hours on end in some of the dirtiest conditions. Why would you no want the best motor oil possible. Synthetic is a must with the heat involved in these engines, a GOOD synthetic is an even better idea! Just putting this out there, I've had good results with Amsoil HD 30/10W-30 small engine oil.
