GMLC, have you tried a straight blade vs. oem humped blade yet and how do they do?

Well I just got to the bottom of the Stens blade problem. These are supose to be OEM replacements but are flat and not humped. After digging them out of the trash I measured them and the OEM blades. The OEM blades have 1 1/8" lift, the Stens only have 13/16" lift. Boy did this make a huge difference in QOC in the wrong direction. Crazy thing is they had a darn sticker on them that said high lift!

With my deck pitched at 1/8 I'm still getting stragglers. Tires at 12 psi, decks clean, and blades are in good shape. I guess I'm going to try and pitch the deck at 1/4" and see what happens then try some straight fusion 3" notched high lifts if I can find them. I tried post pics earlier and everything act like it went through but post never took so here some from today. Had to double cut the one with fence and car in the pic due to clippings because of all the rain I was taking off about 4" worth.

Got her dirty today
slinging a little water and mud. When I got it I pressed all the stickers to make sure they were on well then I waxed it for the first and probably only time. I cleaned it with my pressure washer and straight water on a medium setting an lost 5 decals and two more started lifting. Never had this happen to this extent. Maybe it was a bad batch?Tried to get some shots of the stragglers but my cell phone doesn't pick it up real well. |

Wow that area is unreal.. i love how the property looks with the rockies in the background I would love to visit an area like that. I like that house and property by the way.
Although you are having a few stragglers, the cut still looks really good in the picture. have you talked to your gravely dealer about this problem?
