Hey Exmark Lazer owners-

We just got a notice regarding lazer z's and lazer z hp's. The fuel tank grommet can leak and cause engine fires.

The grommet is located on the bottom side of the fuel tank toward the front of the machine. It has the metal fuel elbow pressed into it.

If there is any seepage around the grommet return the machine to your dealer and they should take care of it. THe service bulletin number to refer your dealer to is # 00-12.

Be safe guys/gals.

Had mine replaced a couple of months ago. My topic was gas smell, I thought I spilled gas when filling up and couldn't get rid of the smell. One day the tank was empty after I filled it up the night before, found the hole!
