water tank algea
in my watering truck if it sits for a day or two we get algea growing and it clogs the filter very fast. anybody and anything to there tank to stop this. it has to be somthing very mild because we use it for watering flowers

Algae grows in water exposed to light. Block the light, and you won't get algae growth.

Chlorine?
Our drinking water is clorinated and that's what comes out of the garden hose too. |

Chlorine is good at killing bacteria, but not so good at algae. Just ask someone who maintains a pool.
If you put it in at levels that kills algae, you will certainly damage a lawn. |
