I have the exact same machine and am currently swapping back and forth between the original blades and a set of G6 gators. To me the G6s do a better job hiding clippings in one pass, so I'd give them a slight edge. But the mower cuts very well with either blade. It has been my experience that the G6s dull quicker though.

We use Oregon gators and get good life out of them. The OEM Scag blades are the best but are about $6 higher.
