I have a BG55 that is 10 years old! I have used the heck out of the thing. It still starts and runs great! I have never used a Husky so I cant speak for them.

husky makes a good product as does stihl. I think the fit a finish is better on stihl. The little things like cables, handles, switches,etc wear out faster on husky IMO. Both make great engines.
