I cut a couple today that are irrigated. But, in both cases, the sprinkler system is nearly worthless. In one case, most all the front yard was brown, dry, and no growth. One place in the backyard had some green, but only near the sprinkler head.

In the second case, the green was located just near the sprinkler heads. The distribution is horrible.

However, I think in both cases, they started the procedure way too late. The turf was already reach the dormant state when they started. People think that my magic, overnight, the brown will turn to lush green turf. Once the turf reaches dormant, or near-dormant stage, it takes lots of water to bring it back.

Sheesh. By next week, there won't be anything left to cut.

Keep hydrated out there. Less competition is good, but don't wanna see anyone dropping in the heat.

I'll be lucky if I get to cut more than one day per week in July, bad for business but good for getting some much needed things done and relaxing a bit.
