Tough times ahead

i have told my customers to call when they are ready to have the weeds knocked down. Most of my yards are still somewhat green. i saw the long range forecast and had already begun cutting at a half inch higher.

Only doing two or three yards a week. Tree work is paying the bills right now. Temps are to be 90= for 10 straight days. Total rainfall for the month of June .005 or 5/100th of an inch. Driest June on record. Bad part is June is the wettest month in Indiana.

It's not just you, it's everywhere. Some places in the world have NO water at all. It's getting dry here but the lawns are holding out so far. I've cut most 1in higher then normal just to keep some moisture there. If a lawn looks kind of shaggy but only has a inch of growth I'll let it go. The part I hate is when the lawn DOES need cut but as you're walking around trimming (if you do that first) and it's half crunchy as you're walking on it even though it needs cut and it's still green on 90% of the cutting area.

It is a far worse problem than just grass cutting, it is soon going to affect fresh water supplies that we need for living.
Our reservoir is two feet below normal, and it's like that almost everywhere.

It's been a dry june when walking on the grass it sounds like walking on leaves !!I be praying for all o us to get much needed rain! and ask you all do the same!

Alot of communities are setting watering bans so irrigation does no good. Time to vote the idiots in congress out who don't believe in global warming. It's going to be too late in two or three more years to do anything about it.

There no such proof of global warming! But there is proof of the Sun getting Hotter!!! new sun spots have been spotted back in oct of last year!
