Im working on a fix (with a non Hustler dealer) but I really shouldnt be the one to do it. Im so pizzed off about it. I feel like talking to my lawyer and seeing what my options are.
Ive lost $100's in lost time double cutting, trying different blade, running around trying to make a solution (still working on that) and just today getting the deck checked and levelled to spec, Ive tried 3 different blades, front baffle in 3 different positions, cutting fast, slow, short, long etc etc. Im not a part of Hustler or there R&D department.

I need this sorted before next season!
Sorry you're having issues still bro. That sucks, plain and simple. No reason for that kind of QOC from a mower as high-tech as the Hustler is (or I should say- is supposed to be). I hope you can come up with an easy and inexpensive fix, and of you do, please let us know here on LS if you would.

Its Friday, maybe beer will fix it.

Sorry for the off topic stuff TN. I might get the SZ update thread going again. I need alcohol first though.

Its all good. If you find a fix post it in here, I or someone else may need it one day. Hopefully you'll get it straightened out.

Got bored yesterday and rinsed the dust and grass off the mowers and cleaned up the trailer a little.

Took some pics today while cutting, but forgot to take anymore after my first stop... This was a mix of grass and weeds still damp from dew, about 8-10" tall cut down to 3". First pic was front yard in the middle of one pass. Second is the big back yard during first pass. It was really thick so I cut thru it again to disperse clippings(3rd pic you can see what was cut once and twice). I cut it all about half speed it was pretty rough. It cut everything down smooth and fanned out the clippings good in one pass(no windrows, it fans over 3 passes), just left a blanket on top of the grass so i made a second pass. I did notice a few small clumps that accumulated then fell off of the flat piece Mickhippy was talking about and has cut out, but it only does it with tall thick grass with so many clippings it needs a second pass, so not really a big deal to me.

TNGrassCutter,

Your pictures of the grass.... What type of camera is that? Weird how certain areas are in focus and others area blurry.

Just had me scratching my head.

I read 95% on my iPhone and don't always load the hosted pictures, just looking at them on the 24" and noticed it now.
